HOW TO USE UPATCH COLDMIX ASPHALT:
Step 1:
To prepare, clean out the area making sure all weeds, dirt or other loose material is removed. Aim to remove any large volume of water if any, but don’t worry if there is a little left, the coldmix will force the water out.
Step 2:
Place the coldmix into the hole, remember that no additive or mixing is required. You should apply is layers of 20-30mm over the prepared area, roughly levelling in between layers. Repeat until the total pavement is 50-75mm thick or the prepared area is completed filled.
Step 3:
Now time to compact! You can use a hand tamper, a compactor or even a car tyre, although we do recommend using either of the first two options for best results.
